An Accordion card using the Sizzix Arch die

It's easy to make accordion cards from smaller paper sizes than A3, but you need to use a narrower die than the vintage cabinet die that my previous accordion cards used. The Sizzix Movers & Shapers Arch die is perfect for 12" papers. Just score at 3", 6" and 9", fold as before and diecut making sure the vertical edges are inside the steel cut lines on the die.

"Inside 4 Decorated Panels"

The accordion fold uses patterned paper from Tim Holtz' Seasonal Paper Stash, it's thick enough to stand up to the job without needing to mount onto card.

"Candlelight Fright"

The candle is cut from the Sizzix Candlelight Fright die, proving that you can use dies other than traditional Christmas ones on your cards if you think outside the box. The candle is cut from recycled packaging, coloured with distress stains and covered with glossy accents for a waxy finish.

"The Far Side"

I love this Father Christmas sticker from Tim Holtz' Seasonal stickers. The label was in a swap from a friend on Docrafts and I thought it would be a good place for a handwritten greeeting.

"Icicles!"

I added some "ice" to the front of the card by stamping a crackle stamp in versamark before heat-embossing in white.

Entered for the following challenge:
Sweet Stampin' - Christmas is Coming
