A couple of years ago I learned this fab trick from Tim Holtz' blog. You take a picture of a candle and cover the candle with glossy accents. Once dry, it looks like real wax.
This image was sent to me by a friend on Docrafts and I coloured it using distress markers before using the glossy accents trick.
From this angle, you can see the waxy shine on the candle.
Lovely card, Maddy, I'm going to use that trick with glossy accents on my Tonic Candle tag die. Good luck with the daily blogging, I don't envy you that!
I see you are well into the christmas cards now too, quite an achievement to make one a day, wish I could. Love this one with its waxy candle, great idea and lovely image
This is gorgeous Maddy, the colours are beautiful and the Glossy Accents look so effective.
