Ink and Diecuts and Stamps Oh My!

Today's card adds some stamping to the mix!

The background is inked with distress inks using the wrinkle-free distress technique. Overstamping uses black archival ink, and the sentiment is heat-embossed with holographic embossing powder. The diecut has some gold gilding wax added, and the border is red velvet just for some fun texture.

It would be easy to keep going and add more bits and pieces, but with Christmas cards you have to draw a line when you have a lot to make! I'm not terribly pleased with the layout on this one, but included it to show you that I often make mistakes.

  3. Well I don't think there is one mistake with this card Maddy, its beautiful. Really gorgeous. Sorry I get to email today to see how you were. Mammy had her op today so it was all hands on deck. She's in fantastic form....but of course she had a spinal block so couldn't feel a thing all day. We'll see how happy she is tomorrow! But so far her and her 28 staples are doing well, lol. Hope you are ok. I may be a bit absent these next few week but I'll do my best to keep in touch. Huggles, Lee x
