Because I Love You...

I made hubby two Valentine's cards this year. This is the first.

"Because I love you..."

The background is stamped in black archival ink and embossed with holographic powder. It looks black but when you catch it the right way in the light...

"Holographic embossing" get these pretty interference patterns.

The main sentiment panel is constructed in a similar way to the Paris card I showed you last week.

"Be Mine"

I love the way you can change the sentiments in these Justrite sets to suit the card...

"Dress Form"

... and the matching dies are really handy. The lace is coloured with distress ink to match the background.

  11. Awwww this is another beautiful card. Just Rite stamps are amazing, aren't they? I only have the one stamp set of theres and I use it all the time. I'm planning on buying more but you know that birthday money that I still had? Yeah, well, the remainder may have just been blown on my first order with Wild Orchid Crafts. I know its a disgrace buying them when I make so many flowers. But I have a good excuse honest! it goes.....Im so busy with Jay and Karen's wedding "stuff" that I barely have time to scratch my head so when I need a flower for a quick project I need to be able to grab one quickly. How did that excuse sound? Heehee. Lee x
