"Be like the bird..."
The trees image was stamped twice with distress inks onto inked card and both the images decorated with Perfect Pearls, one in green patina and the other in blue patina. The blue central tree was cut out and mounted on the other image with foam pads to raise it up. The birds were also stamped and dusted, and the sentiment stamped in archival ink. All these stamps are from the same stamp set.
The main panel and a larger piece of blue patterned paper were both matted onto black card. Lace and black Elegant Flourishes were adhered to the larger panel, then the smaller panel glued on top.
"Flower"
Flowers were layered together with a blue brad to make a stylised blue daffodil. You see, even men's cards can be pretty! The men must get so bored with the sport or transport themes that seem to dominate the market; it's nice to try something a bit different.
