The sentiment on this Graphics Fairy frame lends itself to use with a large single image.
"I come to wish you a happy Christmas"
This dove is just so beautiful. Three layers were printed, cut and decoupaged with dimensional glue to aid the illusion of depth. The advertising on this vintage Graphics Fairy image was camouflaged by overstamping in black with the cityscape from Tim Holtz' City Central stamp set and with the addition of small clear seed beads to make a shaker card.
"Reindeer"
My reindeer obsession strikes again! The background was made by repeated stamping and masking with a Polkadoodles reindeer stamp, colouring with promarkers. The deer are coloured paler in the background so they appear to be further away. The foreground deer is a Tim Holtz diecut stuck with Pinflair to bring it forward in the scene. Of course, he had to have a red nose (a little red gem)!
"Cherub"
This is the original image that was within the frame. Three copies were printed, cut & layered for a decoupage, and the background has ultrafine pale blue glitter for plenty of sparkle.
Entered for the following challenge:
Party Time Tuesday - bling it on
Paper Sundaes - rectangles
That frame is really gorgeous Maddy. Love all three, the images are beautiful. Dont worry about not getting the petals from Ikea my friend, I'll send you some so you can make your own flowers. I'll get them off to you in the next few days. I laughed my head off at your comment "bum, bum, bum", heehee. I say exactly the same....when I searching for a more polite word than that of which Im thinking of. Lee xx
