Some of my favourite cards feature images of nature, and birds are probably the most frequent subjects. The birds in these cards come from Kanban topper sheets. I particularly like the matching sentiments that come with these toppers.
"Vintage owl"
This card has two frames cut for the owl and the sentiment, which both sit behind the usual acetate windows. The papers are from the Paper Cellar pack I mentioned a few days ago and have been distressed with inks.
"Blue tit easel card"
The die-cut butterflies are from Marianne creatables and the quick paper flowers are from the Tim Holtz' Tattered Florals die with little star-shaped sticky gems for centres. The frames are die-cut with nesties. The embossed gold card was a lucky bargain buy in the local Craft Shop.
Both great cards Maddy. xx
