"Wearin' of the Green"
We live within sight of the mountain of Slemish, where St. Patrick minded his sheep as a slave boy. This is a really beautiful part of the world with the green Glens of Antrim, waterfalls a plenty and a fabulous coastline with a road at the foot of the cliffs and miles of golden sands on the beaches. Things are looking up for Northern Ireland and I wish everyone a fantastic weekend.

Beautiful card Maddy. I bought my Shamrock and had it proudly displayed in a wee pot in my kitchen. The Shamrock is now currently being pressed and dried between 2 massive cookbooks!! A big Ireland lover in the USA asked me would I mind sending her a bit of Ireland to her. So T was at the beach and got a big bag of NI soggy sand and some stunning shells and peebles, so they'll be winging their way to the USA very soon. Hope you had a wonderful St Paddys Day. Lee x
ReplyDeletePEBBLES!!! That was meant to say PEBBLES not peebles!! I dont think I'd like to have a bag of peebles! Sounds kinda wrong! lol. Lee x
